About Us

Who we are

We are an a capella singing group, bringing a spot of Merry Olde England to your Christmas celebration. A diverse group of singers, we enjoy sharing our love of music, and the message of the true meaning of Christmas.

What we do

Dressed in Victorian era costume, we perform for private parties, businesses, and events. Our public performances have included locations such as Disney on Tour, Callaway Gardens, Christmas Made In The South, retail stores, nursing homes, and even a funeral parlor!  We are also available for churches, civic groups, and individual private parties.

Where we go

We primarily serve the Columbus, Georgia and Phenix City, Alabama area, but are also available for and have performed at other nearby locations  such as Fortson, Cataula, Hamilton, Pine Mountain, Smiths Station, Ladonia, and Seale.

ENTERTAINMENT PROGRAM

ideal for situations with an unchanging audience, such as the entertainment portion of a banquet or party. In addition to the music, the singers enhance the performance through background stories and audience participation on select songs. 

AMBIANCE PROGRAM

Perfect for your high-traffic area, such as a lobby or entryway, or as live background music  for your company party, sales or promotional event, annual social, or similar "come and go" style party.  

STROLLING PROGRAM

Have an event which covers a large area? The strolling option is similar to the Ambiance, but allows the singers to cover a wider area or multiple nearby sites, by singing at each site - usually 12-15 minutes - then moving to the next location. 

If logistics and acoustics allow, they will sing as they move from one location to the next - this is at the singers' discretion. 

PERFORMANCE TIME

"Performance time" is the scheduled time. However, singers will arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the contracted time to check in, complete any last-minute costume adjustments, receive any final instructions, and move to the designated location. 


When booking, please specify any timing constraints (i.e., "must end by 8:00") or flexibilities (i.e., "sing as guests approach the entrance..") 


The longer a scheduled performance, the more likely that the singers will need a short break, or that singer substitutions may be needed.


Minimum performance time is 1 hour. Shorter periods may be booked, but are billed as one hour.


GROUP SIZE

Most of the songs we sing have 4-part harmonies; therefore, the minimum group size is four (4) singers - one each of soprano, alto, tenor, and bass. In certain cases - especially in places where the acoustics are less than optimum -  we recommend an additional soprano, or soprano and alto.


A popular size for more robust sound - especially outdoors or large areas - is six (6) or eight (8) singers.


Management reserves the right to add a singer or two to any size group for better sound, at no additional cost to the customer.

FAQs

Q: How much will it cost?

A: Cost is calculated on what, how long, how many, and how far. Thumbnail estimate, about $50 per singer per hour, if local. (A distance fee may apply, to compensate the singers for their travel time/mileage.)


Q: Do you give discounts?

A: Yes. There are discounts available for non-profit organizations, multiple bookings (two or more dates for the same organization, in the same place). There is an "early booking" discount, if your date is confirmed before Thanksgiving. Finally, there is a discount for longer booked periods (i.e. 90, 120 minute performances.) 


Q: When are you available?

A: From mid-November until Christmas Eve, mostly evenings and weekends. Email or call to check current availability. Preference is given to returning customers.
